Do you want to have a nice drink and a place to hang out with your friends and family? Boba Toons is the one to go to! The interior design is so relaxing and the staffs are very friendly! My favorite drink is Okinawa Milk Tea with Boba, if you are like me does not like sweet drink, make sure you tell the staff to cut some sugar off in the drink! Also try their original egg waffle, they are crispy on the outside and mochi chewy on the inside, one of my favorite snack back home!

This is a unique little coffee shop you can find in down town Oak Harbor. They do amazing cookies and drinks! They also do theme from time to time, for example, in March to early April, they did the Lord of The Rings theme drinks and cookies! A LOTR nerd like me cannot miss out the chance! You can also find friendly staffs in here and they will explain to you in details for their specials! If you happened to walk by pioneer way check them out!

While you walking in Pioneer way closer to evening time and not feeling a cup coffee, how about something stronger like a glass of wine? Tipsy Jelly Fish has a variety of selection of wine for you to choose from! I usually hang out with my friends there for a few glasses of wine, while my husband enjoy playing table top games with his friends over a non-alcoholic drink. Last time I was feeling something sweet in my system but not too strong, the staff immediately suggest a glass of fruity Moscato, is like they read my mind! Go check out their international wine list, you will not be disappointed!

My family used to be fishermen back in the old days in Hong Kong, loving the ocean is definitely in my DNA. Windjammer park is a nice area where you can enjoy a long walk on the beach. You can have a nice picnic with family and friends on the grassy area. There are children playground, a lagoon for you and your kids to dip in the water and a trail to walk your dogs. Don’t forget the basketball courts for you to show off your skills a little! You can also find some special events hold in here and you will not be disappointed with the view! Don’t forget Music Festival is coming back this August! Windermere Real Estate is proud to partner with Oak Harbor Music Festival to bring you a memorable summer concert! Joseph Whidbey State Park & Hastie Lake County Park
Hastie Lake County Park

Joseph Whidbey State Park is a day-use area, families can enjoy picnics, sunset views, and beach walks. You may notice that U.S. Navy jets flying over the campground at any time for several hours. Their flight pattern may grant you not so quiet, yet, not something you can see everyday free military jet show while you enjoying your sandwiches.
Hastie Lake County Park is also on the West Beach Road, they do not come with trails or picnic area but a small parking space and a beach walk when it is low tide. This is not exactly a tourist spot, is a  very local relaxing place where you can watch the waves hitting the shore. While looking out to the ocean, you can also enjoy some quietness either in your car or sitting on one of the rocks.
